Report on Advances in Aeronautical Science and Technology(2010-2011) is a book edited by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and compiled by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA). It mainly reflects the latest development or achievement in many aspects of the aeronautical discipline. This year’s report covers the development of rotorcraft technology, UAV and its integrated system, flight mechanics, flight test technique, flight technology, aviation safety management, air traffic management, aviation ground support, aviation reliability system engineering and aviation composite materials.
The book is written in Chinese with English abstract. While mainly presenting the progress of China’s aeronautical science and technology, it also makes comparisons between our technology with the advanced ones and proposes solutions.
Report on Advances in Aeronautical Science and Technology is one among the Report on Advances in Science and Technology series. It is a project initiated and organized by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), aiming to demonstrate the latest progress of China’s science and technology of different disciplines. It lasts for five years since the start in 2006. Thisproject (2010-2011) involves 22 national societies and covers the 22 disciplines.
This is the second time that Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA) undertook the project to write a book about the latest progress in China’s aeronautical science and technology from 2010 to 2011. The first time was to write the progress from 2008 to 2009.
The book provides readers a quick link to the newest science and technology development in the aeronautical field.
